Search and browse by creator/author is difficult now, since there is no unique identification of the author.
In Eprints 3 it is possible to add an identifier - the easiest would be to use the present userid as identifier. It is probably possible to have a help text that shows the userid for the person which is logged in, and otherwise, you would have to make it easy to find the userid for a person (at present the userid is not shown on the eprints 3 user information page.

Related to the problem of having searches /browse views that show the publications of a person.
